Bolton Rising Part 50 - Arya/Jeyne

Ramsay had instructed Arya not to wait up for him, as he had business to attend to which might keep him until quite late.  Arya missed him on his late nights and couldn't keep herself from watching the clock, waiting for him to finally join her in the bedroom. Although the master suite was well equipped with all manner of things to satisfy her needs, she was really only happy when Ramsay was with her. The time passed slowly, even though she'd tried hard to keep herself occupied, painting her nails a pretty pale shade of pink, then trying on several new pieces of lingerie. Several items discarded, she finally settled on a sheer pink babydoll, tied with a pretty bow and split down the front to reveal a matching sheer pink demi bra, tiny sheer panties, matching garters and thigh high stockings. She then set aside strappy pink peep-toe pumps for later, before applying lip gloss and mascara and piling her long dark hair on top of her head in a loose updo.

Grunt had delivered her dinner, which was a disappointment, as she was lonely and hoping it might be Ben who checked in on her, so she might have someone to talk with for just a few moments. Ben was not a great conversationalist, by any means, however, as Grunt was missing his tongue, he was even worse. Arya had thanked him and taken her dinner to the table by the window, eating her salad while looking out over the grounds. The forest loomed thick and dark and for a moment her mind strayed to Ramsay's former pet who had run away. She couldn't understand it, she would never want to leave her Master. He could be hard on her, but she loved him too much to comprehend a life without him.

After finishing her salad, she wandered to the wall of built in bookcases which were stocked with books which Ramsay had approved for her to read. She didn't much feel in the mood for reading so she'd chosen one at random, The 120 Days of Sodom by the Marquis de Sade, and curled up in the corner of the couch to read. The book was frighteningly fascinating, but still her mind wandered, always to Ramsay, he never left her thoughts.

The hour had grown late and Arya felt her eyelids beginning to grow heavy. She'd just laid the book aside and was about to make her way into the bedroom when she heard the compound's alarms begin to sound. She could hear what sounded like a helicopter getting louder as the alarms screamed their urgent warning. Heart pounding, Arya rose and hurried to the French windows, throwing them open and saw a black copter emerging out of the darkness. Red and green lights flashed and the wind from the propellers caused her to throw her arm up before her eyes. As armed men began to rappel onto the grounds, she turned and ran to the door, stumbling as the building shook, explosions rocking the huge house on its foundations. Arya reached the door just as her Master threw it open. "Ramsay!" she cried out as she flew into his arms, clutching at him, tears running down her cheeks.

Ramsay grabbed her arm, pulling her out into the hall and along the passageways, not answering her questions, but reassuring her she would be safe and that his Boys would find her. "But what about you?" She was sobbing now, as they entered a room she'd never visited before. Her Master pulled her across the sparsely furnished space, coming to a stop in front of a bare wall. Ramsay pressed some kind of release and the wall swung open to reveal a fully stocked panic room. "Ramsay, no!" Arya screamed as he pushed her inside, understanding dawning on her... he was going to leave her here. "Please, my love... come in here and close the door! You can't go out there!" He shoved her hard and she fell, crying out in pain as she landed on her right wrist, looking up at him as he stood over her, a strange soft look crossing his features for a moment. Arya choked out a sob. "Don't leave me!" He slammed the door as she scrambled to her feet, throwing her body against the barrier, pounding with her fists, screaming his name.

She wasn't sure how much time had passed, but no amount of screaming brought her Master back to her. She searched in vain for a lever or a button that might open the door, however, try as she might, she could find no way out. Sinking onto one of the cots, she looked around, taking in the shelves of supplies, food, water and blankets, but seeing no way to communicate with the outside world, nothing that would tell her how to escape from this room and find her Master. She realized that she couldn't hear any noise coming from the other side of the walls and thought that the safe room must be soundproofed.

Exhausted and shaking, unable to cry any more, terrified girl finally curled up on the cot, pulling a military style blanket over herself and tried to rest. Only a few moments had passed, however, when the door began to swing slowly open. "Master!" Arya sprang from the cot, heart pounding.

Silhouetted in the doorway, however, was not her Master, but someone smaller, crouched and twisted. The creature looked up and the light from a nearby window fell on his face. He smiled, reaching out for her... and Arya screamed....
