The Mountain Part 21 - Hurt

As he pulled her close and she didn't stiffen or try to pull away, again, Gregor wondered what caused her to be so brave. His Lady wife only sighed contentedly and wrapped her arms around him, stroking his hair and pressing her body into his. "Little Doe..." He said softly, closing his eyes for a moment, he feeling  the throbbing in his head lessening.

"Your head, it hurts you, my Lord?" She asked, him, her voice quiet, soothing. He nodded, raising his head to look into her eyes. "Aye, it does." He answered, and her brow furrowed with concern. She caressed his face with her fingertips. Her touch was like feathers brushing against his rough beard and he sighed. Melicent leaned closer and laid tiny kisses on his forehead, then, her lips moving to his temples. Her kisses made him think of warm summer rain, falling gently, almost imperceptibly onto his skin. Gregor turned his head slightly to capture her lips with his own, and she gave a tantalizing little purr against his lips that made him forget the pain entirely as she opened her mouth to him.

Her hands were moving lower now, and he could feel her tugging at the straps of his brigandine. He made a move to assist her and she whispered into his kiss, "Let me take care of you, my Lord..." He grunted, conceding, but held her arms. "You first, wife... I want to look at you..." She nodded and stepped back and he felt his cock swelling, straining inside of his breeches. Unhooking her overdress, she let it slide from her shoulders; as he watched her fingers begin to loosen the laces of her gown, he noticed they were shaking a little. As she pulled the gown open and slipped out of it, he saw her cheeks flush pink, and that charmed him. She was still shy to disrobe before him, and yet, he thought, only the Stranger knew why. She was beautiful. Her creamy white skin looked almost translucent in the fire glow, and the urge to rip away her small clothes, pin her to the wall and fuck her until she screamed for mercy was nearly impossible to control.

"Get the rest of that off, girl. Now." He growled and she hurried to remove her corset and small clothes. Gregor watched as her full breasts were freed from the confines of the corset and he grabbed her wrist tightly, yanking her close to him again. A hand at the small of her back, the Mountain dipped his Lady in his arms and began to suckle on a pert pink nipple, feeling the tiny little nub harden further under his tongue. Palming her other breast, he kneaded her soft flesh, feeling her heart rate rise under his rough palm. Melicent whimpered, her hands resting on his shoulders, curled around his trapezius muscles, her fingers digging into his flesh. Laughing, he let her sink to her feet, holding her up when she swayed. "Fuck, girl... you're a rare creature indeed... the way you respond..." It was nearly beyond his comprehension that a female could be so receptive, so willing. She blossomed under his touch, before his eyes he watched her inhibitions fall away; her body softened, grew more pliable, her cheeks flushed and he knew that if he moved his hand to her sex, she would be slick with sweet nectar, ready for him.

"My Lord, you distract me..." She chided, teasingly. "You must allow me to squire for you, unmolested." Gregor laughed again, her humor took him by surprise and he found himself charmed once again by his little wife.

"Very well, carry on with your duties, then and be quick about it." Chuckling, he presented her with a huge arm so that she could remove his vambrace. She unbuckled the first and moved on to the other, while he watched, enchanted. His pretty little naked wife playing squire for him. Who would have ever thought he would take such unalloyed pleasure in it. He did, he realized, find the situation to be exceedingly pleasurable; a sensation with which he was still unfamiliar, but was beginning to find remarkably gratifying. As she removed a piece of armour or clothing, she would kiss the flesh that she had exposed, running her fingers gently over his skin, sending tingles throughout his body, making him groan as he tried to hold her still and kiss her. She would then slip out of his grasp, giggling and scold him for being so forward with his "squire." Finally, Melicent tugged his tunic over his head and tossed it aside, dipping her head low to trail kisses over his deep cut, rock hard abdomen, as her hands moved to pull gently at the laces of his breeches. His cock sprung free of confinement and he pushed her head down roughly.

"No more games..." he rasped. Melicent collapsed to her knees, the force of his hand at the back of her neck was so great. He could feel her begin to shake again as he held her, her mouth opening, covering the head of his cock as he pushed her head down hard. Gregor looked down at his Lady wife as she knelt, helpless, between his legs. The wet heat of her mouth was too much for him to bear, she was choking on him and he could feel himself spiraling out of control. Pulling her back by the hair, he smiled darkly at the sight of her pretty face wet with tears, as thick strands of saliva trailed between them, connecting them. He pulled her head down again, this time with both of his huge hands tangled in her chestnut hair, groaning as she gagged anew, feeling her throat contract around his swollen manhood. Repeatedly, he dragged her back, then thrust hard, each time he withdrew from her mouth, he would wrench her head back, staring into her frightened face, before pushing her back onto his cock once more. Although she cried, she never attempted to protest, and every time he yanked her back by the hair, she would stare wide eyed back at him, understanding what he wanted of her.

The Mountain rose to his feet, yanking Melicent off of the floor and wrapping his huge hands around her slender waist. He lifted her high, then brought her down violently onto his enormous erection, bellowing out loud as his Little Doe cried out in pain. The Lord of Harrenhal turned, slamming his Lady's back against the rough stone wall. He could hear her sobbing, feel her tears on his shoulder, but he continued to ram into her. His mind told him this was wrong, that it was not the way, that he was hurting her... and yet he simply could not stop. Melicent's arms wrapped around his neck and she clung to him as he used her so ruthlessly. Still she never resisted his assault. When he finally spilled his seed, his roar could be heard throughout the castle.

Breathing hard, Gregor staggered back to the bed, lowering himself and taking his little wife down with him to rest on chest. He kept his arms wrapped around her and she did the same, he could feel her shoulders shaking as she sobbed quietly, her face still buried in his neck, his cock still buried inside of her tight sheath, pulsing. "Alright, girl?" He asked softly, knowing full well that she was not. "I... hurt you... I shouldn't, I don't mean to..." He stumbled, apologies being completely unfamiliar territory for a man like Lord Clegane.

"It's alright, my Lord." She whispered, her voice catching. "I will be fine, I know." He rolled onto his side and slid his manhood from her warm embrace. She whimpered as he did so and he cringed inwardly. Letting her settle onto her back, Gregor looked down at his wife and pushed her tangled hair back from her face. Wide eyed, she gazed up at him, her eyes bright with tears, Melicent attempted a smile, as if to reassure him. She reached up and touched his face, lovingly. He dropped his eyes from hers, wondering how she could look at him that way when he'd caused her so much pain. Looking down, his heart thudded in his chest and he sat up quickly. "You're bleeding... Fuck, girl... You shouldn't be... only after the first..."

Melicent pushed herself shakily into a sitting position and looked down at the bright red blood on her thighs. "Oh..." she breathed, looking back up at her Lord, her face was pale, but she smiled at him. "It's only... Never mind, my Lord, I will heal. You mustn't trouble yourself."

"Trouble myself? Seven Hells, girl, I've ripped you apart!" Furious with himself, he rose, pulling up his breeches. He strode to the door and shouted for a servant. A young girl appeared and Gregor sent her to bring Maester Alaric, although Melicent protested. He helped her under the bedcover and sat beside her until the Maester arrived.

"Perhaps you would wait outside, my Lord?" Maester Alaric suggested, to which Gregor responded by crossing his arms and frowning deeply. "I see, yes. Well then..." The old man nodded and pulled aside the cover. During the examination, Melicent blushed furiously and Gregor stomped back and forth in front of the fire. "There most certainly is tearing, my Lady..." The Maester spoke softly, "I'll give you a draught of dreamwine. Just a little to help you sleep. Also an ointment of comfrey, which you may apply to dull the pain and speed the healing."

Turning to Gregor, the Maester looked stern. "My Lord, you must needs be more careful with your Lady wife. She is young and inexperienced. She is not yet able to withstand... the full force of your... attentions." The Mountain stood silent, frowning deeply as the old man turned back to Melicent, dispensing dreamwine into a tiny glass, watching to make sure she finished it all. He then placed a small jar of ointment on the side table. "Unless you learn to exercise a bit more restraint, you will damage her so badly that she will be of no use to you. I suggest you think on that. Good night, my Lord." Bowing, he gathered his bag and crossed to the door. "Rest well, my Lady. I will attend you in the morning."

When the Maester had left, Gregor turned to face the fire, not yet wanting to look upon his wife as she lay in his bed. He had told himself he would not hurt this one and yet here, again, he had done so. He was angry with himself for being so weak, and also angry with her for being so alluring. She drove him mad, caused him to lose control. He knew it was wrong to blame her for his weakness, and yet he knew not what to do with his anger. She was a good wife. Perfectly obedient, pretty and mannerly, Hells, she even possessed hips that gave her a small chance at surviving the birth of a Clegane son. More surprisingly, still, she seemed to be fond of him. He knew he was lucky to have acquired such a girl.

She was silent behind him and he wondered if she might have gone off to sleep, however, when he turned to her, she was curled on her side under the bedcover, green eyes open, quietly watching him. As he stood looking at her, so tiny and lovely, she smiled at him and he felt his anger dissipate. "I... didn't mean to hurt you, girl." the Mountain muttered, feeling ashamed.

"I know you didn't, my Lord!" Gingerly, Melicent sat up, brow furrowed. "You would not hurt me if you could help it, I know." She held out her arms to him, the covers falling away to expose her pretty bare chest, the girl's soft white skin now marred by fresh bruises. He found himself moving across the room to her, shedding his breeches, settling onto the bed beside her. Gregor's arms went around her and he pulled her in close to his chest. She melted into his arms and he heard her sigh, very softly.

He didn't want to hurt her, truly. He wanted to protect her and feel her close to him. He wanted to please her as she pleased him. "I would give my life for you, Little Doe." he whispered, burying his face in her masses of chestnut hair.

"And I, for you, my Lord." she whispered back to him. He could feel her lips move against his chest, feel her soft breath as she spoke, or he might have thought he'd imagined her next words, "I love you... Gregor." she breathed. Gregor felt a strange catch in the back of his throat, which prevented him from responding. Closing his eyes tightly to staunch the peculiar prickling feeling, he pulled her closer, still, holding his Little Doe tightly until they both drifted off to sleep.

All I see is: ''update!update!update!'' Calm down people, she (he/they) is (are) not robots(sorry, I never knew whether you're girl/boy/or several people)! All I want to tell you is that I love your story, I've said it before about Bolton Rising, but I wanted to tell you again. And one more thing: WHY, WHY, WHY, MELLY, WHHYYY?! She didn't have to tell him that she loves him. He doesn't love her (or at least he doesn't think that he love her). Ugh, so many feelings!

    1. Oh thank you, anon! We are always trying to fit in as much writing as we can, honestly! And thank you for your nice compliments, it means a lot to us to know people like our stories. She does love him, and it's hard for him to know that he loves her. I think he does, but has no way to recognize what he's feeling. Poor Gregor. <3 It's a good thing she's patient!

This is ridiculously good. I'm afraid it has effectively ruined me for any other fanfiction.I do not (normally) like Gregor but your version of him is just so much more than what we get from the ASoIaF books (and sadly won't get from Mr. Stevens anymore.).
I should not be anticipating the next chapter as much as I do but that's clearly my problem so take your time!
Keep up the amating work! :)

  16. Wow. Yes, that’s not the most descriptive word to convey what I’m feeling after reading your story, but at the moment, that’s the only word I can muster. I just finished reading all of the posted chapters of The Mountain and I am completely blown away. You know that feeling you have when you step off of an amusement park ride that just scared you, thrilled you and left you breathless? Yeah, it’s like that.

I’ll admit, while I admire your imagination and your descriptive, fluid writing style, I really didn’t have high expectations for this story. I mean, it’s about The Mountain after all. How exciting could a story about a one dimensional bad guy character be? He’s an awful, brutish man with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I have never cared for Gregor Clegane… until now.

What you did with this character in your story is truly amazing. You breathed life into him. You gave him feelings and emotions and turned him into a multi-faceted figure. At some points in the story, you even made him… likeable. Bravo. You successfully wiped away every preconceived notion I had about reading this story. I consumed the pages just as much as they consumed me. Your words transported me into the world of Gregor and Melly and I didn’t want to leave, but alas, having read the last of the posted chapters, the ride has temporarily come to an end. And now I, along with your other fans, will be anxiously waiting in line, ready to climb aboard once again and be carried away into the realm of Gregor and Melly and continue with them on their exciting, amazing emotional journey.

  23. Are you alright? Physically, medically? I hope nothing has happened to you, that life is being kind to you& all is well. Having said that, and assuming a positive state of affairs, ...WTMFF???? Seriously. I went to rehab, completed, and checked my phone after 28 days.... nothing. I went to a residential after- care program,, completed successfully, checked my phone. Nothing. I carried a child to term, delivered, had a Christening, checked my phone & NADA. What, may I ask you, is the issue. You were editing like 6 months ago. I feel like Gregor, the Red Viper, and Tywin will ALL DIE in ' real life' before you update again. GRRM will complete WOW before we see the next chapter. It's straight narcissism now, isn't it.... or boredom. I think you ARE Melly, and you've moved on to a new fantasy, and your Gregor is actually dying a slower and more agonizing death than GRRMs did. #poorlyeqippedtohandledisapointmentinthebestofcircumstancesbutthisisgettingcrazy

    1. I'm sorry, honestly I really am. I've got some big decisions to make as regards to The Mountain. There have been suggestions that I should keep writing, but not publish online until the story is done. I've had pressure to change things up enough to really make it my own, as the only character who isn't mine is Gregor. Of course that would involve a lot of context and name adjustments and would take some time. I've had someone who I can't reveal, but who knows what works in the literary world & is pretty amazing, tell me that this needs to be converted into a book of some sort. I don't really know what I should do, and so I don't write. I have the whole story in my mind, it's not that I have writer's block or don't know where to go with Gregor and Melicent, I just don't know if I'm brave enough to listen to people who know more than I do about what direction I need to take. So in the meantime, I think I just need to write it for you guys, who have been so loyal and so patient with me. Well, kind of patient! You guys might have thoughts on all this crap, and if you do, please feel free to comment, or even yell at me. I can take it! I'm still here (obviously, I am, as we've been working on Bolton Rising all the time and there is more to come there, as well. I'm sorry, and I'll stop rambling and I promise I'll write you something. From me to you, Merry Christmas, ;) MJ

  24. Wow, I just read through this entire thing and i LOVE IT. I understand its not easy to write and you are still writing Bolton Rising but please, dont forget about this! Alot of us are very excited for the next part and so am I! :)

  25. I can't believe how good this story is! This and Bolton Rising are both absolutely incredible! I absolutely love the way you've brought Gregor to life in a way GRRM didn't take the time to do. No one is disputing that he's a bad man, but even the worst kind of people have reasons for their actions. I think your look inside his personality is fascinating, taking his loss of his mother, early resentment of his little brother and his severe headaches into consideration, as well as the fact that he's a soldier, perhaps too good at his job, but much of what he's done has been to gain his position or to follow the Lannister orders. What a perfect job you've done of weaving all this together and more! I started off not liking Gregor Clegane, but you've really made me think of him as a human being and not a one dimensional monster. I love Melly and how well she plays her role in peeling back the layers of the Mountain. She's a true Disney-type princess, beautiful, smart, compassionate, and multi-layered herself. Please keep writing this, because I think that Gregor deserves to be seen in a fuller light and you seem to be the only person who is able to explain who he really is under the surface!
