Bolton Rising Part 54 - Ramsay

The first time a guard became careless around him, Ramsay wasted no time making his move. The Bastard of Bolton showed everyone why he was to be feared and given respect, if nothing else, out of fear of being butchered and skinned like an animal. Ramsay had somehow lured the inexperienced guard into his cell, blocked the door and flayed the man in front of his comrades who were forced to watch the brutal display through a two-way mirror. Bolton smiled through the whole bloody procedure, using the guard's own knife to strip layers of flesh off as the man gave horrifying screams. After that, no one entered Ramsay's cell, not even to retrieve the body of their fallen friend, who was now a macabre display seated upon a chair, staring with lifeless eyes towards the mirror. "Was this really necessary, bastard?" Roose Bolton, his father, questioned upon entering the cell with a look of contempt. "I was bored. You didn't leave me anything to play with," Ram

A Conversation with Conan Stevens - HBOWatch.com Interview It was November of 2008 when HBO gave the green light for the pilot of the upcoming Game of Thrones television series. I remember the day when I read a post in an online A Song of Ice and Fire forum suggesting possible candidates to play Ser Gregor Clegane, one of my all-time favorite characters from the book series. From the moment I saw Australian stunt actor Conan Stevens, he had my vote. At 7’ ¼”, 315 pounds, Conan, a non-competitive bodybuilder and former Australian Professional Wrestling champion, certainly had the size and the physique to bring The Mountain That Rides to life. The fandom agreed, Conan was the Ser Gregor we’d all been hoping for. …     …     … Recently, I had the pleasure of talking to Conan about his role as Ser Gregor, his future, and what it’s been like to climb the ladder of success. Here’s what the stunt actor, MENSA member and former chess champion had to say … READ MORE at

Bolton Rising Part 53 - Gregor

As Gregor drove home, his mind was already trying to form a rescue plan to retrieve his best friend and leader of the Bastard Boys, Ramsay Bolton, from the fortified military base and secret weapons lab of Roose Bolton. Escaping from that hellish place all those years ago was an impossible feat in of itself, and even now, a cold sweat chilled the Mountain's skin as he remembered his own imprisonment.  He knew Roose Bolton would have no mercy on his bastard son, even at his darkest moments, Ramsay was still just a shadow of his father's cruelty. As he pulled into the driveway and shut the truck off, Clegane sat in his car, peering up at the light still turned on in the bedroom, knowing his woman, Melly, was still up and waiting for his return. When I go after Ramsay, I might never come back to her. Gregor thought grimly, knowing this mission was more than likely a one-way street, hoping he would be able to find his friend before the worst could happen. Melly hear

Bolton Rising Part 52 - Gregor

The Mountain searched for Ramsay Bolton's pet, Arya, following her delicate tracks through the thick woods, knowing she wasn't alone in her escape. Gregor wondered who was aiding the girl, though at the times, the tracks suggested a struggle was occurring and Arya was being dragged away. A creeping suspicion arouse in his mind the more he looked at the second set of footprints. Having chased and hunted down Reek more times than he cared to remember, Clegane was more than certain it was that vile creature who was now leading Arya towards the unmarked dirt road. "I'll fucking snap his neck myself this time." Gregor growled to himself, stomping through the dense undergrowth, before taking cover behind a tree when headlights suddenly flashed on in the darkness. He peered out with a hard scowl upon his face, watching the unexpected scene unfold as Arya and Reek were detained and taken into custody by the feds. Clegane knew Stannis Baratheon. That stubborn
